2025 Special Election – Region 1A

The election of Laura Dickerson as Vice President created a vacancy on the UAW International Executive Board as of July 1, 2025. Therefore, pursuant to the UAW Constitution, it is necessary to conduct a Special Convention to elect a Regional Director.

In accordance with the provisions of Article 10, Section 18 of the UAW Constitution (July 2022), the UAW International Executive Board calls a Region 1A Special Convention for the purpose of conducting an election for Regional Director.

Delegates at a special regional convention elected UAW Local 600 1st Vice President Mark DePaoli to serve as the next Regional Director of UAW Region 1A on Sept 12, 2026.
