2022 NATIONAL CAP CONFERENCE, National Harbor, MD, MAY 15-18

Welcome to the 2022 UAW Community Action Program (CAP) Conference

Greetings Fellow UAW Activists:

On behalf of the UAW International Executive Board, I welcome you to the 2022 UAW CAP Conference. Our Community Action Program (CAP) is at the heart of our legislative advocacy and the work delegates will do this week will further the cause of membership.  Our union is strong because of the work CAP activists and leaders put in representing our interests in cities, statehouses, as well as in Washington, D.C.

We hope you find this week informative and inspiring.  We look to you to take back to your local the training and information we will share with you this week.  In this way, we can build a more engaged and active membership ready to take on the issues facing our union in 2022.

Thank you again for the great work you do on behalf of our members and retirees, and I wish you much success this week as you lobby in Washington, D.C.

In solidarity,

Ray Curry
UAW President
