The 21st century work world is a lot different from when the UAW was founded in 1935. But young workers today are finding that the benefits of union membership are tried and true, even today. Younger workers are increasingly becoming union members, with 76% of 2017’s union growth coming from workers under 35. Young workers know that joining a union is the best way to ensure fair wages, good benefits, and safe workplaces.
