FLINT, Mich. – UAW members will meet with Michigan gubernatorial candidate Mark Schauer to announce that the fierce advocate for the middle class and for Michigan’s auto recovery, is the UAW’s choice for Michigan’s next governor.
“Our members and their families are proud to stand with Mark Schauer because he supported loans to help the auto companies and their suppliers retool and develop new technologies to build the cars of the future in Michigan,” said UAW President Bob King. “Mark Schauer supports quality public education, unlike Rick Snyder, who cut school funding and taxed seniors so that he could give tax cuts to corporations, even if they ship jobs overseas.”
