The often overlooked creativity that exists among autoworkers will be showcased Thursday, May 19, when the UAW-Chrysler National Training Center unveils the 2016-2017 Artists at Work Exhibition.

Fifty-two employees from union and management whose artwork comprises the exhibition will be honored at an invitation only reception.

A panel of art professionals selected winners in three judging categories: Painting and Drawing, Mixed Media and Photography. An overall winner also was chosen as Best of Show.

The event represents a milestone for the National Training Center since it is the 10th employee art show jointly-sponsored by union and management. It is the country’s first workplace recognition program of its kind created by a major corporation and a labor union.
