UAW Statement on Tentative Agreement With Caterpillar

The UAW’s bargaining team has reached a tentative agreement with Caterpillar Inc. before the contract expiration.  Members at four locals in Illinois and Pennsylvania will review the tentative agreement and vote at upcoming ratification meetings.  No details will be publicly released, and we will have no further statement until after those meetings.

National UAW-FCA Council Votes on Proposed Tentative Agreement, Sends for Ratification Vote

Detroit – The National UAW-FCA Council convened today and voted to send the proposed hourly and salary Tentative Agreements with FCA for a ratification vote of UAW members. In doing so, the UAW released details of the tentative agreements as approved by the UAW-FCA National Negotiators and the Council. UAW Reaches Proposed Tentative Agreement to be Presented to the National UAW-FCA Council

Detroit – The UAW announced today that hourly workers, both production and skilled trades, have reached a proposed tentative agreement with FCA US LLC. “Our UAW Bargaining Committee worked diligently, over many months, during the General Motors strike and Ford negotiations to maintain productive negotiations with FCA,” said UAW Vice President Cindy Estrada, director of the UAW-FCA Department. “The pattern bargaining strategy has been a very effective approach for the UAW and its members to negotiate economic gains around salary, benefits and job security. UAW Aramark Members Ratify Contract

Detroit  ̶  UAW Aramark members ratified the 2019 Collective Bargaining Agreement this evening. With ratification of the contract, the UAW members will begin to report to work as instructed by Aramark. Aramark workers had suspended their strike pending ratification. The Aramark ratified contract includes significant gains in job security, wages, and health care benefits. “Aramark members showed tremendous strength throughout their strike. We want to thank their families and local communities for their outpouring of support,” said UAW Vice President Terry Dittes.

UAW reached tentative agreement with General Dynamics

DETROIT – UAW members at General Dynamics Corporation have announced that they have reached tentative agreement today. “The bargaining committees at General Dynamics have worked hard to reach a fair agreement for our members that protects job security, wages and benefits,” said UAW Secretary-Treasurer Ray Curry, director of the UAW General Dynamics Department. Statement from the UAW on status of Daimler Truck Negotiations

“Some progress was made in the Daimler Truck negotiations, but fell way short of reaching a tentative agreement to present to our members. The parties agreed to extend the Collective Bargaining Agreement on a day by day basis and schedule additional Bargaining Sessions”. UAW Members Ratify Caterpillar Central Agreement

UAW members at Caterpillar voted on Sunday, March 26th, to ratify their tentative Central Agreement. All local agreements have been ratified except UAW Local 974 Peoria. UAW Local 974 has rescheduled their supplemental local agreement vote for April 1, 2017. UAW members should check for the location and time with their local union. The six-year agreements cover over 5,000 members in Illinois and Pennsylvania.

Local 6000 reaches tentative agreement with State of Michigan

*****BARGAINING UPDATE****** UAW Local 6000’s bargaining team has reached a tentative agreement with the state of Michigan in contract negotiations regarding wages and benefits for the two-year period beginning Oct. 1, 2017. The tentative agreement for the UAW members working for the state of Michigan includes wage increases in both years of the contract. In addition, there is no increase in costs or loss of any benefits in their insurance. Kohler, union reach tentative deal on new contract

Negotiators for Kohler Co. and the United Auto Workers have reached a tentative agreement on a new labor contract, the local union president said Tuesday night.
