Today UAW members who work for General Motors received the news that they may receive up to $12,750 in profit sharing. UAW members have earned their share of the company’s prosperity, and this negotiated benefit reflects that contribution. Our members are essential to the success of General Motors.  UAW members bring skill, experience, and dedication to the job every day and are well deserving of today’s news. UAW and Forever Energy Announce Neutrality Agreement

Detroit, MI, Shreveport, LA (Sept. 22, 2022) – The International Union, United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW) and Forever Energy announced they have reached a labor neutrality agreement that captures the company and union’s commitment to mutual respect and open communication. Forever Energy’s new facility will be in the one-million-square-foot factory that was shuttered in 2012 by General Motors at Port of Caddo Bossier in Shreveport, Louisiana. Today President Biden once again showed that his Administration stands with working families over special interests by forgiving up to $20,000 in debt for Pell Grant recipients and up to $10,000 for non-Pell Grant recipients for borrowers who earn less than $125,000 per year or households earning less than $250,000.
