Unions, Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati reach tentative agreement

CINCINNATI, Ohio — Four Casino Workers Council unions representing workers at Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati have reached a tentative agreement on a first contract. The tentative agreement between the council representing the UAW, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, the United Steelworkers and UNITE HERE, and casino operator JACK Entertainment LLC, includes general wage increases, retroactive pay and lump-sum payments, among other improvements. On Tuesday, January 26, UAW Members from Region 2B gathered for breakfast in Washington, D.C., in the the aftermath of Winter Storm Jonas. Employees at CB&I Press Vote Overwhelmingly a Second Time to Join UAW

ROCKPORT, INDIANA –– For the second time in less than a month, highly skilled maintenance working women and men at Chicago Bridge & Iron Co. (CB&I) rejected a vicious anti-union campaign and voted overwhelmingly to join the UAW.
