UAW Members Send Clean Drinking Water to Flint Residents In Need

Contact the UAW’s Labor Liaison with the United Way, Teresa McGinnis, at uawlaborliaison@unitedwaygenesee.org FLINT, MI — Members of the UAW from around the state will be donating truckloads of water to Flint residents affected by the city’s water emergency. UAW locals from around the state have contacted the Flint Assembly UAW Local 598 to ask how they could help residents. Subjects of Bargaining

UAW Veterans Hold Carnival for Children of Veterans

Since 1925, the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) has helped veterans and their families with short and long-term housing. From children who need foster care because their parents died in a war to veterans who have become homeless, the VFW maintains houses throughout the country to give aid to our military long after service.
