Western New York UAW Members Host Race for Vets UAW members in Western New York state continued their efforts to support area veterans’ organizations with the 17th Annual Veterans’ Appreciation 5k Run on Nov. 5. The run, which raised over $15,000 for veterans’ causes, was organized by the UAW Region 9 Western New York Veterans Committee and held at UAW Local 686 in Lockport, New York.
