Local 2250 sends area kids to school with the tools they need

The start of school is an important time for kids and having the materials they need to succeed makes all the difference. Thanks to UAW Local 2250 members at General Motors’ Wentzville, Missouri, Assembly Plant, hundreds of kids who might not otherwise have had those materials will be all set this year. Over the summer, local 2250’s Community Service Committee collected supplies and cash, and worked with the United Way and other community organizations to provide 300 school backpacks to area school children. UAW Members Build 2015 Truck of The Year

UAW Local 2250 members have something to be very proud of:  the General Motors Wentzville, Missouri plant workers build 2015 Motor Trend’s Truck of the Year.  The award was announced this week and it recognizes the best “all-new or significantly updated trucks and vans for the upcoming model year.”  It competed against nine other vehicles and was the hands down winner.
