Gaming workers at The LINQ, Paris/Bally’s casinos overwhelmingly approve contracts

LAS VEGAS — UAW-represented table games dealers at The LINQ casino and slot attendants at the Paris/Bally’s casinos overwhelmingly ratified first-ever contracts that raise wages, protect tips received by employees, and provide a fair and just grievance system, among other improvements at the properties on the strip. The gaming workers, all members of UAW Local 3555, ratified the agreements last week. The contract for the 287 dealers at The LINQ was ratified by a 99 percent margin. LAS VEGAS — Gaming workers at The LINQ casino voted overwhelmingly for UAW representation in a National Labor Board-supervised election held last night. They became the second group of Las Vegas gaming workers to choose UAW representation in the last 18 months.
