UAW Reaches Card Check and Neutrality Agreement with The Metals Company

This week the International Union, United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW) and The Metals Company (TMC) announced that they have entered into a labor neutrality agreement to bolster the critical mineral supply chain and to lay the groundwork for sustainable production of electric car batteries while creating a path to more good union jobs in the United States. GM Investment in Toledo Propulsion Reflects Contributions of UAW Members

General Motors announced on Friday that it will invest $760 million at Toledo, Ohio propulsion manufacturing operations to prepare the facility for production of drive units that will be used in future GM Ultium-based battery electric trucks including the Chevrolet Silverado EV, GMC Sierra EV and GMC HUMMER EVs.
