Today, Vice President Joe Biden visited UAW Region 1 in Warren, Michigan to lay out his plan to revitalize American manufacturing. He proposed a program to reward the creation of American jobs and disincentivize corporate offshoring through the use of tax credits and penalties. He also committed to using the United States government’s purchasing power to buy American-made goods.
