“Our thoughts and prayers go out to Cindy and her family. The trade union movement lost a soldier who built a strong record of service at the UAW fighting for the rights of all workers organizing in the trenches. Through his work, Frank White leaves a legacy of families and communities forever improved by organizing for change in the workplace.
From the time White joined UAW Local 878 in Monroe, Michigan, in 1979, where he was elected to numerous leadership positions, through his years of organizing service in UAW Region 1A and the union’s National Organizing Department, he improved the lives of countless workers everywhere.
His loss will be felt at the UAW. Our hearts go out to Cindy and their family.”
