On November 29, police officers, firefighters and their allies from across the state will rally at the Michigan State Capitol to tell legislators to protect the benefits they've earned.

This year, Michigan Governor Rick Snyder formed a task force to address problems with pension programs for municipal employees. The task force was designed to ensure that those who keep our cities safe receive the benefits they've earned.

The Police Officers Association of Michigan worked with the Task Force and supported its recommendations. Now, legislators are set to ignore the recommendations, introducing legislation to take away the benefits local governments have promised.

Attend the Police and Fire Rally at the Capitol to tell legislators to support the task force recommendations and protect the benefits our public safety employees have earned.
