The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Department of Health and Human Services have launched a website and text line to help Americans looking for COVID-19 vaccines book appointments. The digital tools will allow easy access to vaccine scheduling from any computer or smartphone. Visitors to vaccines.gov can enter their ZIP code to receive a list of local vaccine providers with available appointments. Texting a ZIP code to 438829 (GETVAX) will also bring up a list of nearby vaccination opportunities. The tools are also available in Spanish at www.vacunas.gov or by texting 822862 (VACUNA).
