
In 2016, Latinas experience a disparity in wages that is not only unacceptable for them as worker, but directly affects the families and communities that they support. Specifically, Latinas earn only 55 cents for every dollar earned by White, Non-Hispanic men.
In order to enact change, The Labor Coalition for Latin American Advancement (LCLAA), the AFL-CIO, and countless partners, are raising awareness about the inequities faced by Latina workers and taking action! Check out the recap of the Latina Equal Pay Day Twitter Storm and retweet:
Latina Equal Pay Day is observed on November 1, 2016. Although it is the last Equal Pay observance of the year, we all have a great responsibility to shine light on the issues that our Latina workers face day to day. We need to act now to let everyone know that we support #LatinaEqualPay and we VOTE
