Working families need relief.
The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has put millions of American workers out of a job, and extended unemployment benefits for nearly 14 million Americans are set to expire the day after Christmas. Time is running out for lawmakers to extend these emergency benefits.
A bipartisan group of Senators has come together to propose a $905 billion stimulus that would extend emergency unemployment benefits for working families while creating funds for state and local governments, vaccine development and distribution, education, housing assistance and child care.
Working families should not have to suffer during the holidays. The Senate must throw American workers a lifeline. That’s why we’re urging you to contact Senators to ask that they vote to pass a second stimulus bill and get working families emergency relief now!
