
LANSING – With Friday’s ratification by the nearly 17,000-member United Auto Workers Local 6000, members of all state government employee unions have OK’d contracts for 2016 and beyond.
With the UAW’s sign-off, collective bargaining agreements for five of Michigan’s six state worker unions, representing about two-thirds of the state government workforce, will now go before the state Civil Service Commission Wednesday morning for final approval.
