VIN Numbers
If the first number of the Vehicle Identification Number
(VIN) on the small metal plate attached to the front of every
dashboard is a "1" or "4", that vehicle was assembled in
the U.S. A "2" means Canada, a "3" means Mexico and a "J"
means Japan.
* Asterisk indicates some vehicles
(cars and trucks) of this model are UAW-assembled, but some
are assembled in other countries. Be sure to check the window
sticker for the location of the assembly plant.
