Memorial Walkway to honor Reuther brothers
Be a part of Black Lake
Roy, Victor and Walter Reuther “walked the walk” when it came to fighting for social justice.
Active and retired UAW members and others can honor their memory by purchasing and inscribing messages on bricks that will be used to pave a Memorial Walkway at The Walter and May Reuther UAW Family Education Center in Onaway, Mich.

The International Executive Board recently approved the project, which initially will pave the area around the eternal flame at the granite and brass Reuther memorial. The walkway eventually will connect the memorial area to the Japanese Bridge.
Purchasing a brick is an excellent way to pay tribute to the Reuther brothers’ achievements in advancing workers’ rights, civil rights and socially-responsible public policy. It’s also a way to recognize our active and retired members who share their belief in the dignity of workers and their passionate commitment to equity and fairness.
