This local represents brewery workers in Wisconsin who make beer.
Local 10 - Retiree site
This site is dedicated to UAW Local 10 retirees in Doraville, Ga.
Local 12
Based in Toledo, Ohio, this amalgamated local represents members from over 50 diverse companies, with operations ranging from automobile assembly, parts production, health care, financial services, food service and office and professional workers. Chartered in 1936, Local 12 has approximately 9,000 active members and over 4,000 retirees.
Local 14
Local 14 is an amalgamated local union. The General Motors Powertrain Unit has about 1,300 members and is a manufacturer of automatic 6-speed rear-wheel drive and front-wheel drive transmissions.
Our Office Unit has two members that are dedicated to the office work of our local and our units. Also included in our local are two Maintenance Worker Unit workers.
Mathews Ford of Oregon recently joined our local as the first UAW dealership in Ohio
We also have a very active retiree chapter with more than 3,000 members.
Local 22
"Cadillac workers" organized in September 1936 when Local 174 -- the home local of Walter Reuther -- was formed. The local was chartered as Local 22 in 1945. The 2,900 active members of the local still make the Cadillac at GM's Hamtramck (Mich.) assembly plant. Members of Local 22 also include 460 workers at the GM powertrain facility in Livonia, Mich., nurses at three GM facilities, as well as workers at Vitec -- a manufacturer of gas tanks for various cars. Local 22's retiree chapter is 6,000 strong.
Local 31
Based in Kansas City, Kan., the 3,000 active members of Local 31 make the Chevy Malibu at GM's Fairfax Assembly Plant. The local also represents 2,700 retirees.
Local 86
UAW Local 86 in Napoleon, Ohio, consists of nine plants that produce an array of products from agricultural to automotive and flashlights. There are about 1,400 active members and 150 retired. Local 86 endeavors to be a community leader in the Northwest Ohio area by supporting local charities and functions such as the March of Dimes and local fair projects. Local 86 is also trying to get the word out to support union activism by producing a local newsletter and our Web site.
