Supreme Court lifts stay; Chrysler restructuring moves forward

Yesterday evening, the United States Supreme Court lifted the stay, which was temporarily preventing the parties from moving forward to complete the restructuring transactions. The parties are therefore now free to conclude the sale and the other elements of the restructuring transactions that were approved by the Bankruptcy Court, including the retiree health settlement.
