UAW CWA Legislative Alliance

The UAW and the Communications Workers of America (CWA) are separate and independent organizations. However, they have agreed to collaborate, identified as the UAW CWA Legislative Alliance, in appropriate legislative areas. Salaried staff, overhead, and related expenses are apportioned on a continuing basis so that the UAW and CWA each pay for their own share of the activities. In turn, those expenditures are reported, by each organization, as required by Federal regulations. The UAW and CWA are not affiliated, except for the operations of the UAW CWA Legislative Alliance.
